If, for instance, you want to sponsor a future service dog, you may do so by paying am amount - yourself or your company – that covers the expenses of the upbringing and training, etc. of a service dog.

Wheelchairs, walking frames and other special equipment also represent expenses to STH, and we are also very happy to receive such donations. Please contact STH in this respect.

Practical help:

”An army marches on its stomach”.

In connection with team training, we occasionally need ”extra hands” for odd practical jobs, cooking, cleaning up, etc. If you – or perhaps an association you are a member of – wants to help us for a day or two during team training, please contact STH’s instructors.

Puppy host family:

If you are good at working with dogs and would like to help build the foundation for a future service dog, the role as puppy host family might be something for you.

If you are working outside the home, the dog should be alone for maximum five hours a day. You need to have quite a lot of spare time during your everyday life to care for the dog. Being a puppy host, it will be your job to make sure that the puppy establishes a strong tie with people as well as giving the puppy a lot of good experiences in the everyday life. You must participate in puppy motivational courses with the dog. We prefer that there are no other dogs in your home. If there is a dog, it must be at least 1½ years old, friendly and well-trained. Feed and expenses for veterinarian bills will be covered by STH to the extent it is possible to provide sponsors.
