Our experienced dog trainers work purposefully with the specialised training of service dogs. They ensure that each dog develops the necessary skills and receives the training that creates a safe and well-functioning partnership with its future user.

We currently employ three dog trainers who, in collaboration with STH’s instructors, work with selected service dog trainees before they continue to the final specialised training with our instructors.

Service dogs from STH
STH specially trains retrievers to become ADI-certified service dogs that can assist people with physical disabilities in daily life. Through 1.5–2 years of intensive training, health checks, and socialization, the dogs are prepared to perform practical tasks and provide security for their users.
