About STH
STH is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing people with physical disabilities increased independence, security, and quality of life through specially trained service dogs. We ensure a valuable partnership that benefits both.
Our service dogs are trained by experienced and dedicated service dog instructors. They ensure that each dog receives the necessary specialized training and knowledge, so that the partnership between dog and user is safe and effective.

Chief instructor
CHIEF INSTRUCTOR
Lise Lotte manages the daily leadership of the instructor and trainer team as well as the training of service dogs and their users. She also participates in interviews with service dog applicants and in promoting STH.
Lise Lotte Christensen lived in the USA from 1990 to 1997 where she took a three-year training course as service dog instructor with the assistance dog organisation, CCI, in California. Lise Lotte participated in the training of social, facility and service dogs. Since 1997, she has been working as a behaviour consultant with Dansk Kennel Klub, with the development of training programmes for dogs and their owners, mentality test of dogs an a number of other projects.

Anita is involved in the specialized training of service dogs. In addition, she participates in promoting STH, interviewing service dog applicants, and a wide range of other STH tasks.
Anita lives in the midst of Jutland and works with special training of service dogs and in collaboration with Betina Bach on the puppy host project.

Anette is the puppy host coordinator and oversees STH’s puppy and young dog program. She is also involved in the specialized training of service dogs and their users.

STH specially trains retrievers to become ADI-certified service dogs that can assist people with physical disabilities in daily life. Through 1.5–2 years of intensive training, health checks, and socialization, the dogs are prepared to perform practical tasks and provide security for their users.
